ACQUISITION OF SHARES OF BANK HOLDING COMPANY
A.N.B. Holding Company, Ltd., 102 W. Moore, P.O. Box 40, Terrell, Texas 75160, a registered bank holding company and a shareholder of The ANB Corporation, 102 W. Moore, P.O. Box 40, Terrell, Texas 75160, intends to apply to the Federal Reserve Board for permission to acquire additional shares of the issued and outstanding stock of The ANB Corporation up to approximately 39.0% of the issued and outstanding stock of The ANB Corporation. The ANB Corporation owns all of the issued and outstanding stock of The American National Bank of Texas, 102 W. Moore, P.O. Box 40, Terrell, Texas 75160. The Federal Reserve considers a number of factors in deciding whether to approve the application including the record of performance of banks we own in helping to meet local credit needs.
