NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN TO ALL INTERESTED PERSONS, THAT: The City of Niederwald, Texas proposes to institute annexation proceedings to enlarge and extend the boundary limits of said city to include the following described territory, to-wit: TRACT ONE: BEING 1.99 ACRES OF LAND, MORE OR LESS, OUT OF THE OTIS G. EELS SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO. A-167, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, BEING THE RESIDUE OF A 10.691 ACRE TRACT RECORDED IN VOLUME 1047, PAGE 721 OF THE OFFICIAL PUBLIC RECORDS OF HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, AND GENERALLY LOCATED ALONG HAYS COUNTY ROAD NO. 211. TRACT TWO: BEING 8.691 ACRES OF LAND, MORE OR LESS, OUT OF THE OTIS G. EELS SURVEY, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, BEING A PORTION OF THAT CERTAIN 10.691 ACRE TRACT RECORDED IN VOLUME 1047, PAGE 257 OF THE OFFICIAL PUBLIC RECORDS OF HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, AND GENERALLY LOCATED ALONG HAYS COUNTY ROAD NO. 211. Said tracts being contiguous and adjacent to the existing corporate limits of the City of Niederwald, Texas. A public hearing will be held by and before the City Council of the City of Niederwald, Texas on the 17th day of March, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chamber of the City Hall of the City of Niederwald, Texas, for all persons interested in the above proposed annexation. At said time and place all such persons shall have the right to appear and be heard. Of all said matters and things, all persons interested in the things and matters herein mentioned, will take notice.
