NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The City of Port Lavaca Building and Standards Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, May 20th, 2026 at 3:30 P.M. in the City Council Chambers, 202 N. Virginia Street, Port Lavaca, TX. 77979. The purpose of the hearing is to assess compliance and abate violations of the City’s Substandard Building Ordinance. The Commission may fine and order action to abate nuisance conditions and violations of the City’s minimum property standards.
