State Hwy. 276 West Tawakoni, TX 75474-7007 PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of West Tawakoni will conduct a public hearing on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., at West Tawakoni City Hall, 1533 E State Highway 276, West Tawakoni, Texas 75474, to receive public comment and make a recommendation to the City Council, which will take final action on the proposed amendments to the City's Zoning Ordinance as described below: Zoning Map Amendment — An amendment to the Official Zoning Map to reclassify two (2) parcels currently zoned Manufactured Home Subdivision (MH) District to General Commercial (C-G) District, consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan and Future Land Use Map. Parcel 1: A1120 WILSON JACKSON, Tract 17-3, containing 14.44 acres, located on Mays Lane, West Tawakoni, Texas 75474; and Parcel 2: A1120 WILSON JACKSON, Tract 17-1, containing 1.99 acres, located at 500 Mays Lane, West Tawakoni, Texas 75474 The properties are situated in Hunt County, Texas.
