PUBLIC HEARING ON THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS PUBLIC HOUSING PLAN & ADMINISTRATIVE PLAN
 
The Wichita Falls Housing Division is announcing the availability of the Third Year Action Plan (10/1/2026-9/30/2027) for the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program and proposed Revision to the Administrative Plan for the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program. The Action Plan and revision are part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring equitable access to affordable housing and maintaining program compliance with federal regulations. The Third Year Action Plan outlines the upcoming objectives, strategies, and goals for the HCV Program for the third year of the current five-year plan. During the public hearing, the City Council will review and vote on the plan for adoption. The meeting will be held in the Seminar Room of the MPEC, located at 1000 Fifth Street, on Tuesday, May 19th, 2026, beginning at 8:30 AM during the regular meeting of the City Council. This notice is part of an effort to keep the public informed and to seek the input and participation from the local community, with particular emphasis on Housing Choice Voucher Program tenants and applicants. Copies of the proposed PHA Plan and Administrative Plan are available for review during normal business hours at the Neighborhood Services Building located at 1800 Seventh St.
 
COMMENTS
Additional comments on these plans are welcomed and can be expressed during the Public Hearing. Those unable to attend the Public Hearing may comment in writing to The Housing Division. All written comments must be submitted no later than April 26th 2026. Handicapped Accessible parking is available. The City can provide Spanish language interpreters, deaf interpreters, Braille copies or any other special needs to any person requesting a special service with at least a 72-hour notice.
