NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING (100-6110) The Wichita Falls Planning & Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. in the Seminar Room, MPEC, 1000 5th Street, Wichita Falls, Texas to consider the following items: Text Amendment (TA 26-01): Conduct a public hearing and take action on an ordinance amending the Code of Ordinances, Appendix B: Zoning, Section 5600 – Manufactured Housing and Temporary Use Vehicles, addition of general regulations and Section 6615 – Permitted Temporary Uses, for the creation of a temporary use of workforce housing and development regulations. (TA 26-02): Conduct a public hearing and take action on an ordinance amending the Code of Ordinances, Appendix B: Zoning, Section 7500 – Amendment Procedure, to modify public notice and protest procedures for municipal zoning changes, Section 5100 – Home Occupations, to amend the ordinance on authority to regulate home-based businesses, and Section 7600 – Public Notice Procedures and Fee Schedule, to allow for electronic delivery of notice for certain municipal zoning changes in compliance with the 89th session of the Texas Legislative adopted bills.
