NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
AMARILLO PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION

A. PURPOSE: To consider in public hearing the following PLAT/S:
1. Case 2026-32-P The Greenways at Hillside Unit No. 48, an addition to the City of Amarillo, being a replat of Lot 15, Block 15, The Greenways at Hillside Unit No. 31 and Lot 14A, Block 15, The Greenways at Hillside Unit No. 47, in Section 39, Block 9, BS&F Survey, Randall County, Texas (VICINITY: Isabella Dr. & Parkwood Pl. ;APPLICANT/S: Furman Land Surveyors, Inc. for Cornerstone Fine Homes, LLC and Cody and Jessica Beghtel)
B. PURPOSE: To consider in public hearing the following REZONING/S:
1. Case 2026-3-Z Rezoning of a 2.63 acre tract of land, being all of Lots 6 through 10, Block 153, and Lots 1 through 5, Block 154, plus vacated public rights-of-way, all in Plemons's Addition, an addition to the City of Amarillo, in Section 170, Block 2, A.B.& M. Survey, Potter County, Texas, plus one-half of all bounding streets, alleys, and public ways, to change from Multiple Family District 2 to Central Business District. (VICINITY: S. Harrison St. & SW 12th Ave.; APPLICANT/S: OJD Engineering, LLC for First Presbyterian Church)
Items recommended to be forwarded to the Amarillo City Council for approval by the Planning and Zoning Commission, as well as those items denied by the Planning and Zoning Commission that the applicant has appealed by filing a legal, written appeal with the Planning Department by noon of the day following the Planning and Zoning Commission meeting, will be heard by the Amarillo City Council in a public hearing to consider the proposed change(s) on March 24, 2026 at 3 p.m. in the City Council Chamber of City Hall, 3rd Floor, 623 S. Johnson Street, Amarillo, Texas 79101.
The public will be permitted to offer public comments as provided by the agenda and as permitted by the presiding officer during the meeting. This meeting will be recorded, and the recording will be available to the public in accordance with the Open Meetings Act upon written request.
In the event of a lack of a quorum to convene or continue the meeting described above, then this matter will automatically be carried forward to the agenda of the next regularly scheduled meeting of the Commission and succeeding meetings as necessary.

Amarillo City Hall is accessible to individuals with disabilities through its main entry on the west side (623 South Johnson Street) of the building at the main entrance. Access ramps leading to the main entry are located to the north and south of the main entry. Parking spaces for individuals with disabilities are available in the west parking lot.
