PUBLIC NOTICEThe U.S. Department of Commerce, Economic DevelopmentAdministration (EDA), is considering a request for Federalassistance from the City of Brownsville for public infrastructureimprovements (water, sewer, drainage, paving, andbroadband) for an industrial park in Brownsville, TX. Pursuantto the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and theNational Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), EDA is conductingan environmental assessment of the potential of the proposedproject to affect the environment and/or historic properties.The funding will support the construction of critical publicinfrastructure necessary to develop the Marina IndustrialPark, a 60-acre industrial site located in north Brownsvillealong Highway 550.
