Section 00090 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS CHATFIELD WSC 106 CARR ST. POWELL, TEXAS 75153 Chatfield Water Supply Corporation will receive sealed BIDS for the FM 1129 Water Improvements Project, until 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 26, 2026, and then publicly opened at Chatfield WSC, 106 Carr St., Powell, Texas and read aloud. Project consists of 1,870 LF of 6-inch C900 DR-18 PVC water line and all other associated appurtenances. The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS consists of an Advertisement for Bids, Instructions to Bidders, Bid Form, Bonds, Agreement, General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions, Technical Specifications and Addenda issued during the Bid Process and Drawings. Prospective Bidders may examine the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS at the following locations. EGA Consultants, LLC. 408 N. Third Street Lufkin, Texas 75901 Bid/Contract Documents, including Drawings and Technical Specifications are on file at EGA Consultants, LLC. Bid/Contract Documents can be viewed and downloaded free of charge (with the option to pur- chase hard copies) at www.civcastusa.com. Plans may also be obtained at EGA Consultants, LLC for $25.00 per set (non-refundable). The Owner reserves the right to waive the informalities or to reject any or all bids. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within ninety (90) days after the actual date of the bid opening. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the Owner, negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (at par value), or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid. NOTE: Contractor should be aware that FedEx or other courier services do not deliver at the WSC until late afternoon. If sending a bid by this type of courier service, adjustments should be made to accommodate this delivery time.
