CITY OF ALLEN PUBLIC NOTICE Notice is hereby given that the Allen City Council adopted the following Ordinance at its regular meeting held on Tuesday, February 10, 2026. ORDINANCE NO. 4212-2-26: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES BY AMENDING CHAPTER 7, “LIBRARY” BY AMENDING SECTION 7-2 OVERDUE, LOST AND DAMAGED MATERIALS; BORROWER'S CARD; AND SECTION 7-5 LIBRARY THEFT; PROVIDING A REPEALING CLAUSE; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY OF FINE NOT TO EXCEED THE SUM OF FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($500.00) FOR EACH OFFENSE; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
