A public hearing will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at 9 a.m. during the Hood County Commissioners' Court in the Central Jury Room of the Ralph H. Walton Jr. Justice Center, 1200 West Pearl Street, Granbury, Texas 76048. The Commissioners' Court will meet to discuss, consider, and take appropriate action to consider changes to the development permit regulations and to consider a moratorium on industrial development, including BESS facilities and data centers under applicable Texas law, including but not limited to: 1. Texas Government Code Chapter 2275 (Lone Star Infrastructure Protection Act); and2. Texas Government Code Chapter 424 (Critical Infrastructure Protection Act).
