The County of Angelina will receive sealed bids for the sale of a partially burnt Caterpillar 826H Landfill Compactor at the Angelina County Waste Management Center. Bids will be accepted until 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 23, 2026 at the commissioners court room, 211 East Shepherd St, Lufkin, Texas, 75901, at which time bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Instructions to bidders, specifications and bid forms may be obtained from the Angelina County website at www.angelinacounty.net/waste/, by emailing your request to wastemanagement@angelinacounty.net, at the landfill department, 7521 FM 58 South, Lufkin,Texas, 75901 or by call- ing (936) 632-7168. Angelina County reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Awarded bidder must remove property from Angelina County Waste Management Center thirty days after bid is awarded. We will provide as- sistance in helping load equipment.
