Records
This notification is
to inform parents/
guardians and
former students
of New Braunfels
Independent
School District's
intent to destroy
the special edu-
cation records.
The records of
students whose
special educa-
tion services
ended due to
graduation,
completion his/
her educational
program at age
22, mastering of
goals and objec-
tives, or moving
from the district
during the 2019-
2020 school year
will be destroyed
in October 2026
in accordance
with state law un-
less the parent/
guardian or eligi-
ble (adult) student
notifies the school
district other-
wise. The parent/
guardian or eligi-
ble (adult) student
may request a co-
py of the records
in writing or in
person at the fol-
lowing address:
