Runnels County Jail 2025 Upgrades
Ballinger, Texas
Written Qualification Statements are requested and will be received by Runnels County, Attention: The Honorable Julia Miller, Runnels County Judge until 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, for Construction Manager-At-Risk Services to be performed for the construction of the Runnels County Jail 2025 Upgrades ("Project").
The written Qualification Statements will be opened and acknowledged at 10:00 am at 613 Hutchings Ave, Commissioners Courtroom, Third Floor, Ballinger, Texas 76821, then taken under review. Respondents will then be ranked and may be interviewed. Award of the contract shall follow at a later date. The Project is for upgrades to the Runnels County Jail. The upgrades include but are not limited to the following:
Plumbing, Fire Alarm, Electrical, Mechanical, Doors and door hardware, Door frame repair, Minor wall alterations and full acoustical ceiling replacement, Painting, Perimeter fencing, and Security electronics.
Project Description: The project includes renovations.
The building is located in Ballinger, Texas. The Project must be constructed to meet applicable codes and standards.
The architect is: Burns Architecture, LLC (305 21st St, Suite 180, Galveston, TX 77550, Attn: Kenneth C. Burns, AIA, kburns@burns3.com) in association with: KFW Architects (37B West Concho Ave, San Angelo, TX 76903, Attn: Kye Franke, AIA, kye@kfwarchitects.com).
