SECTION 00030 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS SOUTHWEST SUBURBAN SEWER DISTRICT SALMON CREEK SEWER BASIN SEWER REHABILITATION PROJECT Notice is hereby given that Southwest Suburban Sewer District will receive sealed bids for construction of the project called: SALMON CREEK SEWER BASIN SEWER REHABILITATION PROJECT PHASE 1. The bids for the above contract will be received at the offices of Southwest Suburban Sewer District, 17840 Des Moines Memorial Drive. S., Burien, WA 98148-1706, until 2 PM, on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at which time the bids will be opened and publicly read aloud. The work generally consists of the following elements: Rehabilitation of the sewer main within the Shorewood neighborhood via CIPP relining, sanitary sewer manhole rehabilitation and coating, sewer main dig and repair, and associated measures. The project will also consist of the installation of a rock catch manhole and pavement rehabilitation. The Engineer's estimate for the project is $1,550,000 - $1,700,000. The District will conduct a voluntary pre-bid conference and site visit scheduled for 10 AM on March 23, 2026, or 2 PM on March 26, 2026. Prospective bidders are asked to chose the date and time that works best for them. Each bid shall be in accordance with the Project Manual which includes Specifications, Contract Drawings, and other Contract Documents.
