Centerville, WA 98613 Project Name: CENTERVILLE SCHOOL MODERNIZATION - PHASE 1 Project Address: 2315 Centerville Hwy., Centerville, WA 98613 NOTICE TO BIDDERS Notice is hereby given the Board of Centerville School District No. 215, Klickitat County, Washington, is soliciting competitive bids from responsible contractors for the CENTERVILLE SCHOOL MODERNIZATION - PHASE 1 construction and will receive base Bids until 2:00 p.m. (PDT), May 26, 2026 at the District Office located at 2315 Centerville Hwy, Centerville, WA 98613. Submission of Unit Costs and Alternates Bids and List of HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical subcontractors is due by 2:00 p.m. (PDT) on May 26, 2026 at the same location listed above. List of Structural Steel Installers and Rebar Installers is due by 2:00 p.m. (PDT) on May 28, 2026 at the same location listed above. Bids will be received as follows: General Contract consisting primarily of General Construction Work. All Work will be under a single-prime Contract(s). Bids must be submitted on the proper bid form, in a sealed envelope with the name of the Project and the name of the bidding contractor clearly labeled on the front of the envelope. The Base Bids, Unit Costs and Alternate Bids will be opened and read aloud immediately after Bid closing at approximately 2:10 p.m. All interested persons are entitled to attend the Bid opening. All work will be under a single contract. The estimated base bid project cost is $2,000,000. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers check or bid bond, with a State-licensed surety in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid, made payable to the Centerville School District. Contract documents will be available, and may be examined at the following locations: 1. J-2 Blue Print Supply Company, 8100 NE St. Johns Road, Suite B-101, Vancouver, WA, 360-696-1861; https://plans.j2b.com. a. Prospective bidders will be required to sign in as an account manager to have access to the project documents. Contact J2 Blue Print Plan Center regarding questions or setting up an account or viewing the documents. Printed sets or sheets may be purchased directly from printer. A. This project is considered a Public Works project. Attention of Bidders is called to State of Washington statutes, regulations and rules pertaining, but not limited to, the following public Works projects: non-discrimination in employment and facilities; rates of payment for wages and fringe benefits to Workers; employment of excess numbers of Workers who are non-residents of the State of Washington; Bid Form; bonds, Contracts and certificates; restrictions of lien, taxes and retainage; and barrier-free facilities for the handicapped.
