572601 SWRA Runway RehabCITY OF KELSO, WASOUTHWEST WASHINGTON REGIONAL AIRPORT RUNWAY 12-30 REHABILITATIONAIP PROJECT NO. 3-53-0034-028-2025 INVITATION TO BID The City of Kelso is currently accepting bids for construction of the Southwest Washington Regional Airport – Runway 12-30 Rehabilitation. Bids will be received by in-person delivery or by courier at the office of the City of Kelso Engineering Department, located at 203 Pacific Ave. Suite 205, Kelso, WA 98626, until the bid opening time of 11:00 a.m. on the 1st day of May 2026 , at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Any bids received after the time for opening cannot and will not be considered.The scope of work being considered is:1. Runway full-depth reclamation and new HMA pavement (100'x4,391');2. Transition paving to match existing grades of five connecting taxiways;3. Installation of storm drains and underdrains;4. Application of new pavement markings;5. Demolition and installation of runway edge lighting system;6. Replace Runway 12 and Runway 30 PAPIs;7. Replace Runway 12 and Runway 30 REILs;8. Replace lighted windsock and repaint segmented circle;9. Bidders may attend in person at the Southwest Washington Regional Airport, 2215 Parrott Way A, Kelso, WA 98626. A tour of the project site will be conducted after the meeting.This is a prevailing wage project per State and Federal Laws. All labor on the project shall be paid no less than the minimum wage rates established by the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries or Davis-Bacon Act, whichever is greater.This contract will be funded, in part, by a grant from the Federal Aviation Administration. As such, it will be subject to federal requirements.
