REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS 2026-019 KITSAP COUNTY DESIGNATED MARKETING ORGANIZATION Response Deadline: Wednesday, June 3, 2026 @ 2:00 PM The Kitsap County Board of Commissioners invites proposals from qualified organizations to establish a Designated Marketing Organization (DMO) dedicated to Kitsap County. The mission of this DMO will be to foster sustainable tourism and economic growth while honoring and preserving the county's natural beauty, maritime heritage, Indigenous cultures, and small-town character. The County intends on creating an independent, legally recognized nonprofit organization that operates with a tourism-business mindset, managing its own strategic direction and governance. The DMO will be responsible for applying annually for Stadium Funds, participating in the interview process, and collaborating with community partners to promote tourism and support local events throughout Kitsap County and beyond..
