REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS Notice is hereby given that proposals will be received by the Town of Steilacoom, Washington for: STEILACOOM Climate Element with Subelements for Comprehensive Plan By filing electronically until: Due Date: Thursday, April 30, 2026 at 4:00 PM PST Proposals submitted after the due date and time will not be considered. The proposing party accepts all risks of late delivery of mailed proposals regardless of fault. Information about this RFP including general information, general terms, and conditions, requested services, proposal requirements, and evaluation process is available in the RFP, on the Town's official website at: https://townofsteilacoom.org/332/Climate-Element or by contacting Paul Loveless, Town Administrator, at Steilacoom's Public Works Building by phone (253) 581-1912 or by email: paul.loveless@ci.steilacoom.wa.us. The Town of Steilacoom reserves the right to reject all submittals and to waive irregularities and informalities in the submittal and evaluation process. The RFP is subject to grant funding, which has been awarded to the Town in an amount of $400,000 under an executed contract with the Department of Commerce, and its associated scope of work, deadlines, and budget. This RFP does not obligate the Town to pay any costs incurred by respondents in the preparation and submission of a proposal. Furthermore, the RFP does not obligate the Town to accept or contract for any services. The WA Department of Commerce climate planning grant is supported with funding from Washington's Climate Commitment Act. The CCA supports Washington's climate action efforts by putting cap-and-invest dollars to work reducing climate pollution, creating jobs, and improving public health.
