ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS CITY OF WAITSBURG, WASHINGTON WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENTS The City of Waitsburg, Washington (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Water Main Improvements. Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Waitsburg City Hall located at: 160 Main Street, Waitsburg, Washington 99361, until Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project includes the following Work: Installation of approximately 160 linear feet (LF) of 6-inch diameter water main, 2,700 LF of 8-inch diameter water main, 100 LF of 18-inch casing pipe, gate valves, 500 LF of 1-inch water service pipe and connections, water meter setters, fire hydrants, non-potable crossing, surface restoration, and other miscellaneous work required to complete the Project as shown on the Drawings and as specified in the Technical Specifications. The Work may include one or more additive alternatives, which includes the installation of additional water main, 18-inch casing pipe, gate valves, water service pipe and connections, water meter setters, fire hydrants, surface restoration, and other miscellaneous work. The Contractor will be subject to the Davis Bacon Wage Rates and Washington State Prevailing Wage Rates for Public Works Projects, EEO, Washington State Contracting Laws, etc. This Project is being funded in part through the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) federal grant funding. The Successful Bidder and all associated subcontractors must meet EPA requirements or provisions and be licensed to conduct business in Washington State.
