CALL FOR BIDS SE 41ST STREET PRE-LOADING PROJECT NO. SPI-1122A NOTICE IS HERBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received at the administration office of the Port of Camas-Washougal, 24 S A Street, Washougal, WA 98671, until 10:00 A.M., P.S.T. on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 for the SE 41st STREET PRE-LOADING, PROJECT NO. SPI-1122A; at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. PROJECT SCOPE This project is owned by Port of Camas-Washougal (Port). This contract provides for the construction of roadway pre-loading, stormwater conveyance, erosion control and other work, in preparation for the future construction of SE 41st Street. All work shall be in accordance with the Contract Provisions, Plans and Specifications. The Port of Camas-Washougal reserves the right to waive informalities in the bidding, accept a proposal of the lowest responsible bidder, reject any and all bids, republish the call for bids, revise or cancel the work, or require the work to be done in another way if the best interest of the Port is served. A bidder will be deemed not responsible if the bidder does not meet the mandatory bidder responsibility criteria in RCW 39.04.350(1). All contractors must be licensed in the State of Washington. All work performed on this project will be subject to the higher of the prevailing state or federal wage rates (if applicable due to other federal funds are in the project). The Port is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer. This project is funded through the Washington State Department of Commerce with state funding. Contract plans, specifications & notifications may be obtained from the online plan center at https://plans.j2b.com/project/se_41st_street_preloading_project_spi1122a/?site=plans.j2b.com This online plan center provides bidders with free access to these documents with the ability to view and download bid documents. Bidders will need to create a free user account. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid security deposit in cash, money order, certified check, cashiers check or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish a satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the Port.
