Bids are invited for a sewer extension project in West Richland.

INVITATION TO BID

The City of West Richland will receive sealed bids for the SEWER EXTENSION (I-PLANT TO RSD) at the Municipal Services Facility, 3100 Belmont Blvd, West Richland, Washington, 99353 until Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. 
The project will install approximately 5,500 linear feet of 8-inch PVC SDR sanitary sewer pipe, 410 linear feet of 10-inch PVC SDR sanitary sewer pipe, 17 manholes, approximately 186 linear feet of trenchless crossing, cement conc. sidewalk, natural ground and gravel restoration, roadway surveying, and clearing and grubbing to be completed in accordance with the Contract plans, Contract Special Provision, Technical Specifications, and Standard Specifications. Groundwater is expected and dewatering is anticipated to be a significant construction challenge.
All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in surety bond, cash, certified check, or cashier's check, surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful Bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of West Richland.

Only properly executed proposals submitted on the forms furnished by the City of West Richland will be accepted. The City of West Richland reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities, to accept any bid deemed to be responsive in the best interest of the City of West Richland and reserves the right to readvertise for new proposals.
