Whatcom County Bid #26-34 Subzone Levee Vegetation Maintenance 2026 Whatcom County Flood Control Zone District (FCZD) requests bids for Subzone levee vegetation maintenance in 2026, as further described in the solicitation documents. Additional information, including how to obtain the full solicitation at no charge, is noted on the County website https://www.co.whatcom.wa.us/Bids.aspx or call Purchasing at (360) 778-5330. The deadline for responses is 2:30 PM, Tuesday, May 19, 2026. The FCZD in conjunction with Whatcom County, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (42 U.S.C. 2000d et seq.) and Title 2 Code of Federal Regulations Part 200.321(b)(1)-(5), hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, small and minority businesses, women's business enterprises, and labor surplus area firms as defined at 2 CFR, will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex in consideration for an award.
