Carpenter, DOB: 06/18/2015, CASE NO. 25 JC 018 Child under age eighteen NOTICE OF HEARING STATE OF KANSAS TO: Brady Wyatt Carpenter, DOB: 11/21/1982 FATHER OF THE ABOVE REFERENCED CHILD and any and all other persons who are or may be concerned: A petition has been filed in this court alleging that the respondent(s) is/are children in need of care as defined in the Kansas Code for Children K.S.A. 38-2202(d), as amended. Also, a Motion to Terminate Parental Rights has been filed pursuant to K.S.A. 38-2266 et seq. and amendments thereto. You are required to appear before this Court at 8:30 a.m. on April 30, 2026, at the Butler County Judicial Center, 201 W. Pine, El Dorado, KS 67042, or prior to that time to file your written response to the pleading with the clerk of this Court. If, after a child has been adjudged to be a child in need of care, the court finds a parent or parents to be unfit, the court may make an order terminating the parent's or parents' parental rights. Stephany L. Hughes, an attorney, has been appointed as guardian ad litem for the child or children. Each parent or other legal custodian of the child or children has the right to appear and be heard personally either with or without an attorney.
