204456CITY OF LEWISTONSEEKING APPLICANTSFOR THELEWISTON-NEZ PERCE COUNTY AIRPORTAUTHORITY BOARDApplicants are currently being sought to serve a three (3) year term on the Lewiston-Nez Perce County Airport Authority Board.The Board is composed of five (5) members: two (2) members appointed by the County, two (2) members appointed by the City of Lewiston, and one (1) member appointed by a majority vote of the four (4) appointed members.The Board is responsible for the operation and management of the Lewiston-Nez Perce County Airport. Duties include adopting rules and regulations for the management and control of the facility, supervising airport business and affairs, managing airport finances, overseeing the Airport Manager, and performing other responsibilities as outlined in the Joint Powers Agreement.Regular meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month at 3:00 p.m.Individuals interested in applying should contact City Clerk Tanya Brocke at (208) 746-3671 ext. 6202 or tbrocke@cityoflewiston.org for an application. Applications can also be picked up at City Hall, 1134 F Street, Lewiston, ID 83501.Nominees are selected based on a completed application. Preference will be given to applicants who are residents of the City of Lewiston or Nez Perce County and who have experience in business or public organizations, as well as knowledge of engineering, maintenance, marketing, accounting, and/or aviation.
