204430NOTICE OFDETERMINATION OF NONSIGNIFICANCE (DNS)Whitman County Planning issued a Determination of Nonsignificance (DNS) under the State Environmental Policy Act Rules (Chapter 197-11 WAC) for the following project:Through summer and fall of 2026, Palouse Conservation District proposes to install bioengineered structures to stabilize the streambank along Thorn Creek in the north half of Section 18, Township 19N., Range 43E., W.M., Whitman County, WA.Copies of the SEPA DNS are available at no charge from the Planning Division located on the second floor of the Public Service Building, 310 N. Main Street, Colfax, WA 99111. The public may submit environmentally-focused written comments to the Planning Division which can be submitted in person, by email to Grace Di Biase at grace.dibiase@whitmancounty.gov, or Alan Thomson at alan.thomson@whitmancounty.gov, or mailed to: Whitman County Planning Division, P.O.
