City of East Wenatchee 2025 Transportation Benefit District Annual ReportIn accordance with the provisions of RCW 36.73.160, notice is hereby given that the East Wenatchee Public Works Department has published the 2025 Transportation Benefit District Annual Report to the City's website. The summary of the report is as follows: Last year (2025) was the twelfth full year of operating the TBD. This year the City utilized TBD funds to leverage various Grants by funding a portion of the required matches. Cash resources at the beginning of 2025 were $580,875.56. After receiving $589,797.65 in revenues, and expending $541,927.56, ending 2025 cash resources were $628,745.65. The 2026 Transportation Benefit District Program includes four budgeted items: 1. Pavement Management Plan - $20,000 2. City Wide Pedestrian Improvements - $30,000 3. Eastmont Ave Overlay – 9th St NE to 15th St NE - $800,000 4. N Kentucky Ave Loan Contribution - $180,000 The estimated cost for these projects is $1,030,000.
