WHATCOM COUNTY NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR AN ADMINISTRATIVE USE PERMIT Notice is hereby given that on MARCH 19, 2026, JAMES & CARRIE RASMUSSEN applied for a ADMINISTRATIVE USE PERMIT (ADM) under case number ADM2026-00006 to permit the construction of a 1,668 square foot attached Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) as part of a larger project to redevelop the property located at 348 West Wiser Lake Road. The existing single-family residence on the property will be demolished and replaced with a new single-family residence as part of the project, with both new homes being served by the Pole Road Water Association's public water system, and a shared septic system. Additionally, an existing driveway will be extended to serve both residences. The application was determined complete on April 9, 2026, indicating that all submittal requirements were met.
