Notice of Application - Date of Notice: April 17, 2026 - Notice is hereby given that a Discretionary Use Application and SEPA checklist were received by Grant County Development Services on March 02, 2026, from MM Potato, 30572 Feedville Road, Hermiston, OR 97838, (Designated Contact: Studio+Architects, 9 S Washington St., Suite 518, Spokane, WA 99169) and were found to be Technically Complete on April 07, 2026. Grant County expects to issue a Determination of Non-Significance for this proposal, and the Optional DNS Process in WAC 197-11-355 is being used. This proposal may include mitigation measures under applicable codes, and the project review process may incorporate or require mitigation measures regardless of whether an EIS is prepared. This may be the only opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal and the proposed mitigation measures. A copy of the subsequent threshold determination may be obtained upon request. PROJECT: A Discretionary Use Permit and SEPA checklist application have been submitted to construct two buildings for farm operations on a 19-acre portion of a parcel totaling approximately 626 acres. Building 1, approximately 16,200 square feet, will be used for administrative purposes, while Building 2, approximately 18,750 square feet, will be used for product processing operations. The proposed facilities will be served by an individual well and an on-site septic system. Three new access points are proposed from Road 7 NE. ZONING: Agricultural. STUDIES REQUIRED: Habitat Assessment. LOCATION: The site address of the location is 6969 Road P NE. The subject property is south of County Road 7 NE, Section 35, Township 20 North, Range 29 East, W.M., Grant County, WA. Parcel # 18-0385-000. PUBLIC HEARING: NONE. CONSISTENCY STATEMENT: This proposal is subject to and shall be consistent with the Grant County Code, International Building Code, and International Fire Code.
