YAKIMA COUNTY, WASHINGTON NOTICE Temporary Closure of a portion of Barkes Road Notice is hereby given that the Board of County Commissioners of Yakima County, Washington, did pass a resolution authorizing the temporary closure of a portion of Barkes Road, from Fort Road to Branch Road. This road closure is for the repair to the bridge deck of Bridge No. 0282 by County Road Maintenance. Barkes Road will be closed to through traffic from Fort Road to Branch Road. Local access will be provided to property owners within the closure area, and public access to Yakima County Fire District and local School District facilities. The temporary road closure dates are approximately March 23rd through March 29th and shall remain in place until the work is complete and the roadway is restored for travel.
