City of Anacortes INVITATION TO BID: Whistle Lake Road Pipe Arch Modifications NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received at the office of the Clerk-Treasurer, Municipal Building, P.O. Box 547, 904 6th Street, Anacortes, WA 98221, until 2:30pm local time on March 3, 2026, at which time bids will be opened and publicly read for the Whistle Lake Road Pipe Arch Modifications #25-044-WTR-002. The City will not consider bids received after that time and date. This project consists of demolition of section of welded steel pipe and installation of a dechlorination overflow security assembly and air gap on a pipeline drain to comply with Washington Department of Health regulations. A bid deposit equal to 5% of the bid amount is required. Engineer's Estimate is $413,000. Bid specifications are available free of charge at bxwa.com. Published February 18, 2026 AA-716624
