SECTION 00 11 00 – ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID Western Washington University is seeking proposals for the following project: MB Electronic Safety Upgrades, PW856, a project involving the full replacement of the fire alarm system at Engineering Technology and additive alternates for select fire alarm device replacements at Miller Hall and Communications Facility. The Architect/Engineer's estimate for base bid plus additive alternates: $1,400,000. In accordance with RCW 39.04.320, all projects with an estimated maximum allowable construction cost (MACC) of one million dollars or more require a minimum 15% Apprenticeship Participation. Prebid Conference will be held at 10:00 am, February 26, 2026. The meeting can be attended either in person at WWU's Physical Plant, 915 26th St, Bellingham WA, conference room 309; or virtually via Microsoft Teams, call in # (206) 800-4437, Conference ID 601 141 580#, or access the link at Bidding | Capital Planning and Development | Western Washington University (wwu.edu).
