PUBLIC NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO APPROPRIATE PUBLIC WATERS TAKE NOTICE: That Robert Bloch of Bellingham, WA on January 27, 2026, under Water Right Application No. S1-29665, filed for a permit to appropriate public surface water, subject to existing rights, from Lake Whatcom for year-round use in the amount of 0.022 cubic feet per second and 0.5 acre-feet per year for single domestic and irrigation of 0.1 acres of lawn and garden. The source and place of use of the proposed appropriation are located within Government Lot 3 of Section 26, Township 38N, Range 03E, W.M., within Whatcom County. Protests to this application must include a detailed statement of the basis for the objections. Protests must be accompanied with a fifty dollar ($50.00) non-refundable recording fee.
