Everett Public School District No. 2 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS The Everett School District No. 2, Snohomish County, Washington, is calling for Bids for the Sequoia High School Mechanical Upgrade project, located at 3516 Rucker Avenue, Everett, WA 98201. Bids will be received up to but not later than exactly 2:00 PM, March 3rd, 2026 time-stamped and held. Bids will be opened and publicly read at 3:00 PM. Bids must be hand delivered to the Everett School District at the Community Resource Center, 3900 Broadway, Everett, WA 98201 or sent by US Mail to the Everett School District Purchasing Office, P.O. Box 2098, Everett WA 98213. It is the sole responsibility of the Bidders to deliver bids by the date and time and in the manner indicated. Late bids will not be considered and will be returned to the Bidder unopened. Everett School District No. 2 reserves the right, as described in the Instructions to Bidders, to postpone the Bid opening, to waive informalities or irregularities in the bid process, and to reject any or all Bids. Briefly, the scope of the work includes: Replace two heating water boilers, one chiller, four hydronic loop pumps and two domestic water heaters, along with related appurtenances. Demolish grooved joint heating water piping fittings and replace with pressed fittings. Replace fans in two large air handing units with fan wall systems. Replace 57 VAV terminal units. Modify existing ductwork, piping and electrical as indicated for the new equipment. Modify the existing control system to accommodate these changes. Upgrade existing exterior ductwork. A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at Sequoia High School located at 3516 Rucker Avenue in Everett on February 12, 2026, at 7:00 AM or February 17, 2026 at 1:00 PM for the purpose of reviewing the actual conditions affecting the Work, answering contractors' questions, and specifically to allow access to view areas related to the scope of work. All prime bidders are required to attend one of the two Pre-Bid conferences to qualify for bidding. All contractors shall sign the attendance sheet to evidence their attendance. The doors to the meeting will be closed ten (10) minutes after the meeting is scheduled to commence, and no contractor arriving after that time will be allowed to sign the attendance sheet.
