PENINSULA SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 401 Gig Harbor, Washington NOTICE TO BIDDERS Sealed bids will be received by the undersigned no later than 2:00 PM on March 10, 2026, at Peninsula School District No. 401, Educational Service Center, 14015 62nd Ave NW, Gig Harbor, WA 98332 for: Gig Harbor High School Field & Track Renovation. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the date and time indicated above. Bids received after the date and time stated above will not receive consideration. Bidders may obtain specifications and contract documents from: "ARC Document Solutions" http://www.e-arc.com/location/tacoma 632 Broadway Tacoma, WA 98402 Phone: (253) 383-6363 Fax: (253) 272-4064 There will be a pre-bid walk-through at 10:00 AM on February 24, 2026, at Pioneer Elementary School, 8502 Skansie Ave, Gig Harbor, WA 98332 (adjacent to Gig Harbor High School). A pre-bid walk-through meeting will be held at the project site. Meet in the north parking lot of the school building at Pioneer Elementary School. Contractor must comply with the subcontractor listing requirements specified on Part I of the Form of Bid and Page 8 of the Instructions to Bidders. A Bid Deposit of five percent (5%) of the amount of the base bid is required and must either be a surety bond, postal money order, cashiers' check or certified check made payable to Peninsula School District. Deposits of unsuccessful bidders will be returned; however, the three lowest will be held until after award of Contract. Bid Deposit of successful bidder will be returned upon receipt and acceptance of completed Performance and Payment Bond, Certificate of Insurance, and signed Contract Agreement. The Board of Directors of Peninsula School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality and irregularity in the bidding and to accept bids which are considered to be in the best interests of the district. No bidder may withdraw a bid after the hour set for the receiving thereof or before award of Contract, unless said award is delayed for a period exceeding thirty (30) days.
