Notice of Ordinance passed by Lakewood City Council The following is a summary of Ordinance No. 845 passed by the City of Lakewood City Council on the 17th day of February, 2026. AN ORDINANCE of the City Council of the City of Lakewood, Washington, establishing a community volunteer program for the adoption and stewardship of public streets, street ends, and public sites; repealing Resolutions 1996-28 and 1997-13; and providing for severability and an effective date. Section 5. Effective Date. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty (30) days after publication of the Ordinance Summary.
