CALL FOR SEALED BIDS Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Skokomish Indian Tribe at the Office of Community Development located at the Skokomish Tribal Center, 80 N. Tribal Center Rd., Skokomish, WA 98584 up to the hour of 1:00 p.m. on Friday March 13, 2026 for the T3ba'das Phase 2 Housing Project and will then be opened and publicly read. The project provides for constructing a 21-lot housing development on the Skokomish Indian Tribe Reservation. Grading, stormwater collection, roadway construction along with the extension of watermain, gravity sewer with a lift station work will be required. A second phase of this project will be bid at a later date to include concrete work, electrical and lighting and any finishing work. Installation will require site stabilization and coordination with the Mason County PUD, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications. This project is federally funded through a Housing and Urban Development (HUD) grant and must comply with Build America Buy America (BABA) and American Iron and Steel (AIS) requirements.. All bids shall be submitted on the prescribed Bid Forms and in the manner as stated in this advertisement and in the Bid Document. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the outside clearly marked "sealed bid" with the bid opening date and time, and the project name as it appears in this advertisement and the name and address of the bidder. Free-of-charge access to project bid documents (plans, specifications, addenda, and Bidders List) is provided to Prime Bidders, Subcontractors, and Vendors by going to www.bxwa.com and clicking on "Posted Projects", "Public Works", and "Skokomish Indian Tribe". This online plan room provides Bidders with fully usable online documents with the ability to: download, view, print, order full/partial plan sets from numerous reprographic sources, and a free online digitizer/take-off tool. It is recommended that Bidders "Register" in order to receive automatic e-mail notification of future addenda and to place themselves on the "Self-Registered Bidders List". Bidders that do not register will not be automatically notified of addenda and will need to periodically check the on-line plan room for addenda issued on this project. The range of the Engineer's opinion of probable construction cost is: $1,750,000 to $2,250,000. A 5% bid bond is required. There will be a mandatory Prebid Meeting on Tuesday February 17, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at the Skokomish Indian Tribal Offices.
