City invites bids for accessible pedestrian signal project by April 29, 2026.

CITY OF ALISO VIEJOFY25-26 ACCESSIBLE PEDESTRIAN SIGNAL PROJECTNOTICE INVITING BIDS
The City of Aliso Viejo (“City”) will receive sealed bids for the subject project at the Aliso Viejo City Clerk’s Office located at Aliso Viejo City Hall, 12 Journey, Suite 100, Aliso Viejo California, no later than 2:00 pm on Wednesday, April 29, 2026.
The Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG) is a program that provides communities with resources to address unique community development needs. The program is authorized under Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974.
This work is Federally-funded and shall comply with the Federal Prevailing Wage Rates in accordance with the Federal Labor Standards Provisions. If there is a conflict between State and Federal Prevailing Wage Rates, the higher of the two will prevail. Lower State wage rates for work classifications not specifically listed in the Federal wage decision are not acceptable.
The work includes the following: furnish and install accessible pedestrian signal units.
The engineer’s estimate for this work is approximately $100,000.
The Contractor shall have twenty (20) working days after the starting date specified in the Notice to Proceed to complete the work.
Bidders may request the Contract Documents by contacting the office of the City Engineer, Public Works Department at(949) 425-2530 or public-works@AVCity.org. Electronic copies will be provided at no charge. A charge of $35.00 will be required of any bidder who requests that the Contract Documents be mailed.
