REQUEST FOR BIDS TO PERFORM SUBCONTRACTOR CONSTRUCTION SERVICES 2H Construction is requesting subcontractor bids for the following project:Sato Academy HVAC Modernization Project and All Sports Field This is a Lease-leaseback project for Long Beach USD consisting of the installation of HVAC system in classrooms, offices and support spaces including, but not limited to: upgrades of utility service, accessibility, technology, interior/exterior finishes, lighting and electrical; and tactile signage per the bid specifications. The scope also includes a new all-weather sports field. Bids must be submitted on or before 2:00 PM on April 29th, 2026 to; 2H Constructionryan@2hconstruction.com or 562-424-5578 fax PRE-BID JOB WALK/SITE VISIT: The Project Staff will be available at the job site on Wednesday, March 18th , 2026, at 7:30AM for interested bidders to visit the site. The site address is 1100 Iroquois Ave, Long Beach, CA 90815. This is a non-mandatory site visit. All safety protocols shall be adhered to, to ensure health and safety for everyone present. Per PCC 20111.6, all MEP subcontractors are required to be prequalified with Long Beach USD and must submit a prequalification questionnaire at www.QualityBidders.com ten (10) days prior to the bid opening, if not already prequalified. This project is subject to an Owner Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP). Subcontractors of all tiers must have an EMR of 1.24 or less at the time of enrollment. Subcontractors must comply with general prevailing rates (PCC.1720 et seq.) and shall be registered with the DIR.CA.gov prior to submitting a bid (Labor Code 1725.5) Each BIDDER shall be a licensed contractor in the classification as required for the work to be performed at the time of bid submission and must maintain the licenses throughout the duration of the project.
