PUBLIC NOTICE OF A REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR DESIGN-BUILD SERVICES PRE-QUALIFICATION FOR BUTTE COLLEGE'S NEW FIREARMS TRAINING FACILITY BUILDING PROJECT Pursuant to Education Code �81700 et seq., Butte-Glenn Community College District will accept Statement of Qualifications and other information required by the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) Instructions for the preconstruction, design, and construction of the District's Indoor Firearms Training Center Building Project to be constructed at Butte College's Main Campus located at 3536 Butte Campus Drive in Oroville, California. NOTICE IS HERBY GIVEN the District is soliciting a RFQ for a Design-Build Entity (DBE) under a Best Value, Guaranteed Maximum Not to Exceed, Design-Build procurement method under California Education Code �81700. The three (3) highest scoring RFQ Respondents will receive a two-part Request for Proposal ("RFP"). The RFP will be a competitive process for the District's selection of a DBE to complete programming, design, and construction of the Project in two phases. The Firearms Training Facility has 17,586 sq ft building footprint with approximately 15,807 sq ft of site improvement. The Firearms Training Facility has (1) 37'x 160' riffle range, (1) 52' x 85' hang gun range, a safe area/ instruction space, dedicated mat room, armory, storage room, (3) all gender restrooms, a lactation room, mechanical, electrical, data and (2) custodial rooms. The site will be improved to provide 14 parking stalls and a covered entry structure. The District has established an estimated cost of $15,330,000.00 for the Preconstruction and Design-Build of the Project. The Project Budget will be refined and finalized by the District after completing the RFQ process. Latest date and time for submittal of RFQ Responses is 1:00 pm June 3, 2026. Any RFQ Responses received after the due date and time will not be considered and will be returned to the firm. The RFQ for DBE and related information required by this RFQ can only be obtained by e-mailing Kimberly Jones, Butte-Glenn Community College District Director of Facilities Planning and Management, at joneski@butte.edu.
