Balfour Beatty Construction invites bids for the SMF Pedestrian Walkway Project.

INVITATION TO BID
 
Balfour Beatty Construction, LLC is requesting bids from
 qualified subcontractors (licensed subcontractors with A or B Classification(s)
 or C Specialty license for scope noted within the Bid Packages) for:
SMF Pedestrian
 Walkway Project – Artwork Installation On behalf of the 
Sacramento County
 Division of Airports
BID DATE & TIME: TUESDAY, MARCH 17th, 2026, on or
 before 2:00 PM via Building Connected
There will be a MANDATORY job walk on Thursday, Febaruary
 26th, 2026, at 11:30 AM. Meet at the project construction trailer. The
 meeting will begin with a general project overview, followed by a job walk of
 the project site.
RFI DEADLINE: ALL REQUESTS FOR CLARIFICATION must be
 submitted no later than 4:00 PM Monday, March 2nd, 2026.
 Requests received after the deadline may not receive a response. Failure of a
 bidder to request clarification of apparent errors or ambiguities waives the
 bidder's right to object to a clarification issued later by the Architect or
 BBC. Refer to the Request for Information document in the project's Front End
 Documents folder of BuildingConnected for specific instructions for the electronic
 submission of all RFI requests. RFI responses will be issued in an
 addendum.

BALFOUR BEATTY CONSTRUCTION, LLC PREQUALIFICATION:
 All BIDDERs must be prequalified to BID on Balfour Beatty Construction Projects
 for any Bid in excess of $500,000.00. If the Bid Package amount is over
 $500,000, then the BIDDER must submit a prequalification package and be
 approved prior to any award. Approvals are good for 12 months and must be
 renewed annually. The prequalification process can be started on our website at

Subcontractors must comply with general prevailing rates
 (PCC.1720 et seq.) and shall be registered with the DIR.CA.gov prior to
 submitting a bid (LaborC9de 1725.5)
DAVIS BACON WAGES: All Subcontractors of every
 tier will comply with this project's Davis Bacon Wages requirements. Refer to
 the Davis Bacon documentation provided for this project.
CONTROLLED INSURANCE PROGRAM (CIP): The County
 has elected, at its sole discretion, to explore a Controlled Insurance Program
 (CIP.) All bidders must submit "CIP BID FORM 1" with their bids to be
 considered.
