We request bids from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including DVBE/DBE/SDVOSB/SBE/MBE/VOSB/WBE's for the following Project: Salinas Valley Health Seismic Compliance Progressive-Design-Build Bid Date: March 24, 2026 until 2:00PM Contact: Athan Hadjimarkos, athanh@overaa.com Scope of work includes: THIS IS AN OVERAA PROJECT Overaa is the Progressive-Design-Build (PDB) General Contractor for the Salinas Valley Health (SVH) Seismic Compliance Project and is partnered with Dreyfuss + Blackford as Architect of the PDB entity. This Project will seismically retrofit the Salinas Valley Hospital to meet structural and non-structural performance categories (SPC and NPC) as required by HCAI. Specifically, this Project includes work required to: Support equipment anchorage and utility bracing needed to bring the hospital into compliance with HCAI NPC-4 and/or NPC-4D requirements at Buildings 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, and 17. Support fire sprinkler bracing needed to bring the hospital into compliance with HCAI NPC-4 and/or NPC-4D requirements at buildings 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 17, and others. Support installation of underground water, sanitary, and fuel tanks needed to bring the hospital into compliance with HCAI NPC-5 requirements. Support structural improvements needed to bring the hospital into compliance with HCAI SPC-4D requirements at buildings 1, 2, and 17. Location 450 East Romie Lane, Salinas, CA 93901 Bidders are required to review each drawing set provided for scope associated with their respective trades. Scopes of Work for this Project include, but are not limited to the following: Survey, abatement and demolition, concrete cutting and core drilling, waterproofing, concrete, rebar, pump-place-finish, structural steel, miscellaneous metals, metal deck, finish carpentry, casework, countertops, insulation, roofing, roof patching, flashings, gutters and downspouts, expansion joints, joint sealants, firestop, spray-applied fireproofing, final clean, general requirements, equipment anchorage, doors, door frames, door hardware, glazing systems, window film, metal stud framing, drywall, acoustical ceilings, flooring, painting, wall coverings, special coatings, tiling, cement plaster systems, signage, miscellaneous specialties, fire sprinkler, plumbing, HVAC, electrical and low voltage, scaffolding, elevator, shoring systems, earthwork, excavation, shoring, drilled piers/caissons, asphalt paving, utilities, landscape, pavement markings, fence and gates, and landscape. Design-Build Scopes of Work already under contract include structural steel, fire sprinkler, plumbing, HVAC, electrical and low voltage. All subcontractors must acknowledge having viewed either live or recorded the virtual job presentation webinar to be held Thursday March 5th, 2026 at 1:00 PM. See Instructions to Bidders for link. This is a prevailing wage project. Certified payroll is required. Skilled and Trained Workforce requirements apply. Overaa is signatory to Laborers and Carpenters and all Laborer and Carpenter claimed work must be performed with union labor. Acceptance of Subcontractor's bid is expressly conditioned upon Subcontractor's assent to all terms and conditions contained in the applicable Overaa standard agreement without modification. These agreements are available for viewing in the Bidding Opportunities tab on our website, https://www.overaa.com/subcontractors/bidding-opportunities. By submitting a bid, Subcontractor is certifying that it has read the applicable Overaa standard agreement (either the Subcontract Agreement or Purchase Order Agreement) in full and accepts all terms without modification. Further, by submitting a bid, Subcontractor waives any rights or claims it may have to modify the terms of the Overaa standard agreement, whether through negotiations, discussions, or other means. Overaa's standard agreements include the right for Overaa to require Subcontractors to furnish a faithful performance and labor bond, in a form and from a surety acceptable to Overaa, in the amount of 100% of the Subcontract price. Subcontractors will be required to comply with all subcontract insurance requirements, which includes providing a waiver of subrogation endorsement to their workers compensation insurance. Overaa utilizes the environmentally-friendly Textura electronic invoicing and payment system to streamline and expedite subcontractor invoicing and payment. Service fees charged by Textura for processing of electronic payments to Subcontractor shall be the responsibility of Subcontractor. Please contact our office if you would like more information.
