NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Sausalito ("City") invites and will receive sealed Bids up to but not later than 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at the office of the City Clerk, located at the Sausalito City Hall, 420 Litho St, Sausalito, CA 94965, for the furnishing to City of all labor, equipment, materials, tools, services, transportation, permits, utilities, and all other items necessary for the Fire Station 2 Tenant Improvements (the "Project"). At said time, Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Sausalito City Hall. Bids received after said time shall be returned unopened. Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 calendar days after the Bid opening date. Location and Description. The Project is located at 300 Spencer Avenue in Sausalito and includes interior renovations consisting of structural improvements and framing repairs, replacement of doors and windows, replacement of the furnace, as well as electrical and flooring improvements. The project also includes exterior work to the building including but not limited to deck repair, siding replacement and roof replacement. Bids must be submitted on the City's Bid Forms. Bidders may obtain a copy of the Contract Documents from https://www.sausalito.gov/departments/public-works/bid-notices. To the extent required by section 20103.7 of the Public Contract Code, upon request from a contractor plan room service, the City shall provide an electronic copy of the Contract Documents at no charge to the contractor plan room. A printed copy of the Contract Documents are not available.
