NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Sausalito ("City") invites and will receive sealed Bids up to but not later than 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at the office of the City Clerk, located at the Sausalito City Hall, 420 Litho St, Sausalito, CA 94965, for the furnishing to City of all labor, equipment, materials, tools, services, transportation, permits, utilities, and all other items necessary for the Safe Pathways to School Coloma St and Ebbtide Ave. (the "Project"). At said time, Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at City Hall, located at. Bids received after said time shall be returned unopened. Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 calendar days after the Bid opening date. Location and Description. The Project is located on Coloma St., between Bridgeway and Olema and on Ebbtide St. at the northerly entrance to the City's Martin Luther King Facility. The selected contractor for this Project shall perform work to efficiently install raised mid-block crossings, new sidewalk, curb, and gutter, new landscaping elements, and replace asphalt pavement and pavement markings as noted in the attached plans. Work shall be performed with minimal disruption to regular traffic and pedestrian flow. Appropriate permits and submittals shall be procured and submitted to the City for approval. Bids must be submitted on the City's Bid Forms. Bidders may obtain a copy of the Contract Documents from https://www.sausalito.gov/departments/public-works/engineering-division/capital-improvement-projects/bid-notices. To the extent required by section 20103.7 of the Public Contract Code, upon request from a contractor plan room service, the City shall provide an electronic copy of the Contract Documents at no charge to the contractor plan room. A printed copy of the Contract Documents is not available. A NONMANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for May 13, 1:00 p.m. to review the Project's existing conditions at the intersection of Coloma St and Bridgeway.
