NOTICE TO BIDDERS Notice is hereby given that Tahoe Truckee Unified School District (hereinafter referred to as “Owner”) will receive sealed bids prior to the date and time stated for the Bid Opening for: TTUSD 2026 Asphalt Maintenance Per bid documents, electronic copies may be obtained by contacting Thea Torelli at ctorelli@ttusd.org after April 7, 2026 and at www.ttusd.org/projectbids. Bids will be received at the TTUSD Maintenance Warehouse at 11643 Donner Pass Road, Truckee, CA 96161 on April 30, 2026 before 1:00 pm on the clock designated by the Owner as the bid clock. The project name shall be stated on the outside of the envelope. Facsimile (FAX) copies of the bid will not be accepted. Bids will be accepted via mail through the U.S. Postal Service or another carrier. If a bid is submitted via mail, the bidder must notify Thea Torelli in advance and address the bid package to Facilities/Maintenance Department c/o Thea Torelli at 11643 Donner Pass Road, Truckee, CA 96161 with a “Signature Required Upon Receipt”. District takes no responsibility for the timeliness of mailed submittals. Bids will be opened after 1:00 on April 30, 2026. Bid Package: TTUSD 2026 Asphalt Maintenance Engineers Estimate : $170,000.00 Mandatory Pre-Bid Walk: No Pre-Qualification Required: No The low bidder shall be determined by the sum of all school sites combined for a Total Bid. The project is a public works project subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. No contractor or subcontractor shall be qualified to submit a bid or to be listed in a bid proposal subject to the requirements of Public Contract Code section 4104 or be qualified to enter into or engage in the performance of any contract unless currently registered and qualified under Labor Code section 1725.5. Pre-bid conference/Site walks will be held on April 21, 2026, at 8:00 am starting at Truckee Elementary School at 11911 Donner Pass Road, Truckee, CA 96161 and will continue to the other crack/slurry seal project sites. The pre-bid conference is NOT mandatory; bidders must certify that they have visited the crack/slurry seal job sites and are familiar with existing conditions. Oral statements shall not be relied upon and will not be binding or legally effective.
