NOTICE TO BIDDERS Notice is hereby given that Tahoe Truckee Unified School District (hereinafter referred to as "Owner") will receive sealed bids prior to the date and time stated for the Bid Opening for: TTUSD Re-Roofing Project 2026 as per bid documents. Electronic copies may be obtained by contacting Alan Roth at aroth@ttusd.org after April 10, 2026, and at our website https://www.ttusd.org/Page/314 Bids will be received at the District Office of the Owner at 11603 Donner Pass Road, Truckee, California 96161, on May 1, 2026, before 2:00 p.m. on the clock designated by the Owner as the bid clock. The Project name shall be stated on the outside of the envelope. Facsimile (FAX) copies of the bid will not be accepted. Bids will be accepted via mail through the U.S. Postal Service or another carrier. If a bid is submitted via mail, the bidder must notify Alan Roth in advance and address the bid package to Alan Roth at 11603 Donner Pass Road, Truckee, California 96161 with a “Signature Required Upon Receipt". District takes no responsibility for the timeliness of mailed submittals. Bids will be opened immediately following the bid deadline. > Bid Package: TTUSD Re-Roofing Project 2026Engineers Labor Estimate: Base Bid: $339,000, Alt 1: $33,000, Alt 2: $89,000 MANDATORY Pre-Bid Walk: No (site visit certification is required)Pre-Qualification Required: No (must be Certified Pre-Approved Garland Contractor)The lowest bid shall be determined on the sum of the base bid plus all alternates. The Project is a public works project subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. No contractor or subcontractor shall be qualified to submit a bid or to be listed in a bid proposal subject to the requirements of Public Contract Code section 4104 or be qualified to enter into or engage in the performance of any contract unless currently registered and qualified under Labor Code section 1725.5. Pre-bid conference/Site walk will be held on April 17, 2026, at 1:00 PM starting at Rideout Community Center located at 740 Timberland Lane, Homewood, CA 96141, and then to Truckee to review SELS and Truckee Elementary portables, and finishing at Donner Trail Elementary in Kingvale. The pre-bid conference is NOT mandatory, bidders must certify that they have visited the jobsite(s) and are familiar with existing conditions. Oral statements shall not be relied upon and will not be binding or legally effective.
