PW2500000019 - FALCON SQUARENOTICE TO BIDDERSThe Cerritos Community College District ("District") will receive sealed bids for Bid No. PW2500000019 Falcon Square, ("Project") no later than 2:00 PM on April 7, 2026 (the "Bid Deadline"), at the District, Construction Management Office, 11110 Alondra Blvd., Norwalk, CA 90650 (off Studebaker Road at Old Falcon Way, between the Health Science Building and the Metals Building). The Project consists of the renovation of the existing campus quad, including new sitework, earthwork, site utilities, and shade structures, as further described in the bid and contract documents ("District Documents"). Bidders shall review the District Documents for more complete information regarding the Project and submission of bids. The architect's/engineer's construction cost estimate for this Project, including any alternates, is $13,000,000.District Documents may be obtained via the District's Online Portal on Planet Bids accessible through the Procurement & Contract Services Department's website at https://www.cerritos.edu/purchasing/bids-and-proposals.htm.A mandatory pre-bid meeting and job walk for prime contractors will be held on March 6, 2026 or on March 13, 2026, at 10:00 AM, at the District, Construction Management Office, 11110 Alondra Blvd., Norwalk, CA 90650 (located north of the existing Performing Arts Center. Prime contractors can park and purchase a parking pass at lot 10, following by walking to the north end of the Performing Arts Center). The deadline to submit a request for information is March 24,2026.Bids must be submitted to the District on the District's bid forms. All bids must be addressed, sealed in an envelope, and received by the District no later than the Bid Deadline. All bids will be publicly opened immediately after the Bid Deadline. Bids received after the Bid Deadline shall be rejected. District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality or irregularity in any bid received.Bids shall be valid for sixty (60) days after the Bid Deadline. Bids must be accompanied by cash, a certified or cashier's check, or a bid bond in favor of the District in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the submitted total bid price.
