Bids are invited for RSFSD Asphalt Project due by May 5, 2026.

NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS CALLING FOR BIDS: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Rancho Santa Fe School District("District") will receive sealed bids for RSFSD Asphalt Project; Bid Number #20252026/001 ("Project"). Bidders must submit sealed bids on or before 2:00 p.m. (PST), May 5, 2026. At 5927 La Granada, Rancho Santa Fe, California 92067. The District is not responsible for bids received after the deadline noted above or bids misdelivered, by any method. The Project consists of: grinding, removing, and replacing three sections of existing asphalt as follows: (1) Main Blacktop 38,094 ft�; (2) Lunch Table Area 7,347 ft�; and (3) Front Parking Area including Gym 46,803 ft�. Each area will require the griding, removing, and hauling of existing asphalt; preparation of subgrade; installation and compaction of new asphalt; application of one coat of sealer after installation; and restriping of asphalt, as well as labor and materials. Work will be performed from June 1, 2026 to August 1, 2026. The District will conduct a mandatory prebid conference and site visit will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2026 at 8:45 a.m. at 5927 La Granada, Rancho Santa Fe, California 92067. All prospective Bidders are required to sign in at the front office of building 100 to be acknowledged to be in attendance and eligible to bid. The site visit is expected to take approximately 1 hour. Failure to attend or tardiness will render the bid ineligible. The invitation for Bids ("IFB") packet, which includes the Bid and Contract documents, are available for download on the District's website: https://www.rsfschool.net/. Each bid must be submitted on the forms provided in the IFB packet and must conform to all bid instructions and any addenda issued. The class of California contractor's license(s) required in order to bid on and perform the contract for this Project is: A or C12 . Bidders shall provide a bid bond or other acceptable security in the amount of 10% of their total bid price. The awarded Contractor is required to furnish a 100% Performance & Payment Bond. The Project is subject to the general prevailing rate of per diem wages and the general prevailing rate for holiday and overtime work as determined by the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations, for the type of work performed and the locality in which the work is to be performed within the boundaries of the District, pursuant to Labor Code � 1770 et seq. The District reserves the right to reject any & all bids and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received. No Bidder may withdraw its bid for ninety (90) days after the date of bid opening. The District shall award the Contract to the lowest responsive responsible Bidder based on the base bid alone.
