NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS CALLING FOR BIDS BONITA UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT BID NO. 20252603 In accordance with Public Contract Code 20111, Notice is hereby given that the BONITA UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT, hereinafter referred to as DISTRICT, will receive up to, but no later than 10:00 a.m. , on May 11, 2026 , sealed bids for the award of a contract for: ROOFING AT VARIOUS SITES. A mandatory prebid conference and job walk will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at Ekstrand Elementary School located at 400 N Walnut Ave, San Dimas, CA 91773, at the front office, for the purpose of discussing the bid documents, answering any questions generated by those in attendance, and viewing the site. Sealed bids shall be made and presented only on the District forms. Sealed bids will be received no later than the bid opening time listed above and shall be opened and publicly read aloud at the District office located at 115 W. Allen Ave, San Dimas, CA 91773. It is each bidder's sole responsibility to ensure its bid is timely delivered and received at the location designated as specified above. Any bid received after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids shall be returned to the bidder unopened. Each bidder shall possess, at the time the bid is awarded, a valid Class C39 Roofing Contractor License with (Tremco Certification for Roof) pursuant to Public Contract Code Section 3300. The successful contractor shall maintain the license throughout the duration of the contract. Small businesses and firms owned and controlled by women, minorities and persons with disabilities and/or disabled veterans are encouraged to participate in this solicitation. Bidders who do not meet the above criteria, are strongly encouraged to solicit these businesses/firms as subcontractors. The CONTRACTOR and all subcontractors shall comply with the prevailing wage requirements set forth in Division 2, Part 7, Chapter 1 of the Labor Code. Contractors or subcontractors submitting bids must be registered with DIR. Per Senate Bill 854, all contractors and subcontractors intending to bid or perform work on public works projects will be required to register, and annually renew, online for the program. The requirement to use only registered contractors and subcontractors on public works projects, greater than $1,000.00, applies to all projects awarded on or after April 1, 2015. No bid can be accepted nor any contract or subcontract entered into nor contract issued without proof that the contractor or subcontractor is registered.
