INVITATION TO BID Notice is hereby given that Mendocino Community Health Clinic Inc. (MCHC Health Centers) (herein called the "Owner") and Hibser Yamauchi, Inc. (herein called the "Architect") will receive bids up to, but no later than 3:00 pm (PST) on Friday, April 3rd , 2026 at MCHC's Hillside Health Center, 333 Laws Ave, Ukiah, CA 95482 for the remodel of an existing building into a New Urgent Care and Administrative Building at 1240 Airport Park Boulevard, Ukiah, CA (herein called the "Project"). The work consists of the interior and exterior remodel of a one-story tilt-up and steel framed building of approximately 7,217 square feet including the addition of an exterior elevator tower, a secondary floor within the existing overall building height, and site modifications in conformance with the specifications and plans developed by the Architect. This bid is a public bid process. Technical questions regarding this project shall be directed to the Project Architect, Kile Campbell at (530) 758-1270, ext. 436 or kcampbell@hy-arch.com . Qualified California State licensed General Contractors may bid the project and must obtain bidding documents from the Architect. A link to download an electronic set of Contract Documents may be obtained from the Project Architect, Kile Campbell at kcampbell@hy-arch.com . Only those bidders who obtain the documents as described above shall be considered as registered bidders. Only registered bidders will receive Addenda or other notifications from the Architect or Owner. The Architect or Owner shall not be responsible for the accuracy or completeness of documents obtained by any other means other than obtaining a complete set of bidding documents through the Architect and registering as a bidder. Interested sub-contractors and material suppliers are to contact interested prime contractors for further bid instructions and may request a link to download an electronic set of bidding documents from the Project Architect. NOTE: A mandatory pre-bid walkthrough will be held on Monday, March 9, 2026 at 10:00 am (PST) at the job site (1240 Airport Park Boulevard, Ukiah CA 95482). All bidders are required to attend. Bidders shall inspect the site where services are to be performed and shall satisfy themselves as to all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of performance of the contract to the extent such information is reasonably obtainable. In no event will a failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for withdrawal of a bid after opening or constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. Bids shall be submitted electronically via an online downloadable folder, available by request from the Project Architect, Kile Campbell at kcampbell@hy-arch.com or submitted physically in duplicate (one original and one copy) in a sealed envelope to: Tiffany Williams Director of Compliance and Risk Management, Compliance Officer MCHC Health Centers 333 Laws Avenue, Ukiah CA 95482 On or before 3:00 pm (PST) on Friday, April 3rd , 2026; soon after the bids will be opened, in a closed meeting attended by owner and design team representatives. Under no circumstances will bids be received by the Owner after 3:00 pm (PST) Friday, April 3rd, 2026, unless so directed by formal addendum. Also to be submitted is a bid bond, subcontractor's list, and such other documents as indicated in the Instructions to Bidders. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis and shall include such adjusted Bids, if any, as are indicated on the Bid Form. The contract will be awarded to the lowest qualified and responsive bidder who demonstrates past experience and successful project completion of similar projects, and whose bid does not exceed the amount of funds estimated by the Owner to be available for the construction of the project. Only bids meeting ALL of the bid requirements included herein, and in compliance with the Invitation for Bids will be considered for an award. The Owner reserves the rights to reject all bids, to waive irregularities, and to award the bid to other than the lowest bidder. Selection of alternate bids, if any, shall be in whatever order the Owner determines to be in its best interests. Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of 60 days following the opening of bids.
